SceneStudio™ Set for Q4 Release
Application Optimized for Single Location uses of Digital Signage
Buffalo, NY (November 9, 2006) RidgeLogic Development, a new entrant in the digital signage market, has announced the release of their flagship product, SceneStudio, set for December 2006.
SceneStudio is a cost effective, easy-to-use messaging platform that allows creation, scheduling and playback of digital content on a video display. It also provides the ability to deploy a digital signage solution in a stand alone environment, meaning connection to a network is not required.
“While researching the digital signage market it became quickly evident that all the focus was in the enterprise space,” says Jack Boyczuk, President for RidgeLogic. “We feel the use of digital signage for stand alone applications presents a large opportunity across various markets and SceneStudio was designed to meet these needs.”
SceneStudio allows the viewing area of a video display to be broken into user defined regions, with each region having a unique content type. Content types supported are rich text, HTML, TV, Flash, various image types, movies, sound and scrolling text.
“We are excited that SceneStudio provides the multimedia display capabilities of an enterprise-class product wrapped in a simple to use interface,” says Boyczuk. “Allowing non-technical users to create or edit content means the solution will provide messaging that is kept fresh and relevant.”
RidgeLogic will offer SceneStudio through System Integrators in North America and is in the process of building a network of authorized partners.
